This accessibility statement applies to the public data subject request portal at gdpr-request.com, including the request form, verification and download pages, and related information pages.
What we aim for
We aim to meet WCAG 2.2 Level AA for the public pages of this portal. That includes:
- Semantic page structure and landmarks
- Visible labels on form fields (not placeholders alone)
- Keyboard focus that is visible and usable
- Status and error messages announced to assistive technology where practical
- Text that can be resized with browser zoom
- Sufficient colour contrast for primary text and controls
How to use this site with assistive technology
- Use the “Skip to main content” link at the top of each page.
- Form errors appear next to the form and are marked as alerts.
- Verification and download pages update a live status region while processing.
Known limitations
- Google reCAPTCHA is used on the request form to reduce abuse. Third-party CAPTCHA widgets can be difficult with some assistive technologies. If you cannot complete the form, contact the organisation’s privacy team for an alternative channel.
- The staff admin area is a separate internal tool and may not yet meet the same accessibility standard as the public pages.
- Automated download pages start a file download when a valid link is used; screen reader users should listen for the status message confirming that the download started.
